Live Free Florals

Designed at the very height of summer, this illustration project could not have come at a better time. I had just begun a new part-time job at a local bank to make ends meet (and make them meet doing a job that is completely unrelated to graphic design!), and I was in need of a creative commission such as this to help me look forward to something after long days of numbers. When Christin of Live Free Florals reached out to ask if I could help design some new merchandise for her, I was thrilled!

With her guidance, I hand-lettered and illustrated this beautiful quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson to adorn tote bags, t-shirts, and anything else her heart desired. For the front of a t-shirt, I snipped one of the flower illustrations to sit perfectly above her business name.

Christin has worked hard to bring her own dream of a flower farm to life, and proudly offers her homegrown blooms for sale in Boscawen, NH. I am so inspired by her and I know you will be too!
